For more information please contact the club’s Beginner Liaison Sarah on beginners@royalrichmond.co.uk

Experienced Archers

If you have previous formal experience of archery, are a member of another archery club or have recently completed a beginners’ course elsewhere, you are welcome to apply to join the club as a member.

To join the club, as per Archery GB guidance, you will be required to pass a safety assessment. These assessments are carried out by our qualified coaches during designated practice sessions throughout both Summer and Winter seasons.

Royal Richmond Archery Club

Established in 1873, and stronger than ever, with a mixed membership of all ages from 10 upwards. Foremost, we are a GNAS target archery club, but incorporate all aspects of archery. We are fortunate enough to have our own club house and field facilities in Old Deer Park, Richmond. We can shoot outdoors throughout the summer season (mid-April to mid-September) and on certain dates throughout the winter. Our main club days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings and all day Sunday, though the range is sometimes available at other times throughout the week. During the winter we have one indoor session a week on a Sunday afternoon, which is currently held at Richmond-upon-Thames College.

We have numerous trained coaches and assistants who help our members achieve the best results with their archery.

We hold beginners’ courses in the early part of our summer season, following which you may be able to join the club. To find out more about our beginner’s courses please click here

Royal Richmond Archery Club is at Old Deer Park on the Kew Road in Richmond; to see the map location please click here
